STUDIO FAQS...
How do I book a studio session?
You can book by email, phone or by reaching out through social media. Studio hours are flexible but generally run about 10 - 6 on weekdays and 10 - later at the weekends. Session payment is taken in full prior to the start of the first day of the booking. We accept cash, card, Venmo, Zelle. The minimum booking is 4 hours.
What equipment is available for use in studio sessions?
We have a Ludwig Element Evolution Drum Kit and Fender Twin reverb Amp, but you'll probably want to bring your own... There's also a Chickering Upright Piano, a Fender Rhodes Stage Piano and a Roland Juno-60.
Where is the studio, and can I park?!
We're at the intersection of Hoover and Olympic, in between DTLA and Koreatown. There is parking for one car, and two can fit with prior arrangement.
How much studio/recording time should I book?
Obviously this depends on several factors such as the complexity of your instrumentation, the recording process we opt for, and how well you know your parts - in general we recommend 1 day per song. Sessions are charged by the hour (minimum of 4) - when we're done, we're done.
I'm Hungry.
There's legit good Mexican food next door at El Taurino and a fairly well stocked bar in the studio. That's what I said, THERE'S A BAR IN THE STUDIO. There's also a Northgate Market across the road which is dope.
Can you produce my song from scratch?
YES! I love to do this. For songwriting, production and collaborations check out the samples here. If you're a singer-songwriter or solo artist get in touch and we'll put together the perfect recording package! We can also do demo reels with accompaniment produced to whatever degree you like. Rates on this are on a case-by-case basis, but let's talk!
